Abdurrahimi Tırsî

 Abdurrahimi Tırsî (d. 1520):

• He was born in the village of Tirse near İznik. • It is rumored that his father, Bayezid Fakih, who served as an imam in the same village, was related to Bolulu İsfendiyaroğlu Ahmed Bey's family.

• During his childhood years, he accompanied his father to İznik and participated in the gatherings of Eşrefoğlu Rûmî.

Abdurrahimi Tırsî:

• When Eşrefoğlu said, "Give this child to us so that we can educate and raise him," with the consent of his father, he entered the protection of the sheikh and was raised and nurtured by him.

• After a while, he married Züleyha Hatun, the daughter of his sheikh.

• Following Eşrefoğlu's death (874/1469), according to his will, he became the successor in the dergah.

• He passed away in İznik in Safer 926 (February 1520) and was buried next to his sheikh.

• Make my body naked with love, • Let me be amazed by your face. • Remove the veil in between, • Show me, soul to soul.

• This is Abdurrahim Tırsî, • You are the sultan's missing part. • May the grace I seek from you reach • Every home, every household.
