Hoca Ahmet Yesevi
Hoca Ahmet Yesevi 1093, Sayram - 1166
• Turkistan (Yesi) is a student of Arslan Baba, who is also of
Turkic origin. • He is a mystical philosopher and poet known as "Pir-i
Turkistan" and is one of the Alevi saints. • He received a strong
education in both religious sciences and Sufism. • His father, "Sheikh
Ibrahim Vali," who is descended from the first Imam Ali al-Murtaza from
the Twelve Imams, is the spiritual guide Sheikh Abu Yaqub Yusuf al-Hamadani in
the Naqshbandi lineage.

• Although he never came to Anatolia, "Hoca Ahmed
Yesevi," who is known and loved in Anatolia, according to widespread
belief,
• has had a great influence on Anatolian schools of thought,
such as Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi and Haji Bektash Veli (Seyyid Muhammad bin
Seyyid Ibrahim Ata),

in Anatolia.
