ÂŞIK FİGANÎ, ÂŞIK MANSUR VE SİLLELİ ŞAİRLER

This love's fire burned my body,

I dropped my heart into the sea.

I put all my possessions on your path,

I sacrifice my life, oh majestic one.

I became turbulent, flowed and calmed down,

I passed through hidden places and now I'm still.

I fell in love with a celestial being,

Her eyes are like the bow and her face is enchanting.

I tested the arrows of patience,

I turned my face to suffering.

She aimed for my heart and burned the lover,

She left me with a tragic fate.

Thoughts shattered me,

I lament like a nightingale.

I am in the service of Süruri,

He sometimes imprisons and sometimes sends to prison.
